Spun a hub and in return tore up spindal as well. The boat place that I took to can't find what model axle it needs cause the skeeters serial # was a plastic peace that was put on not stamped to the trailer. Can anyone give me an idea or what the model axle I need if they have a similar boat.

Not sure what area your in. You might contact Skeeter and they may help. I use a local trailer company to service my boat trailer. They can fix anything that goes wrong with it.

I'd take it to another shop. Why are you doing part of the work you are paying them to do? I have a hard time believing a boat shop can't get this information.

I just had the same thing happen to my trailer last fall. Took it to a local trailer dealer (H&L Trailer's in Joshua TX) and they cut off the damaged spindle and welded on a new one same day. Has been running excellent ever since.

You can get the serial number off your license receipt.
Best thing to do is go to Northern Tool or a good trailer sales and get a new spindle. Then have a good welding shop cut and weld.
Snowflakes and entitled brats will be the doom of America!

I just had the same thing happen to my trailer last fall. and they cut off the damaged spindle and welded on a new one same day. Has been running excellent ever since. had this happen on the road.. A welder from Seymour Tx came out to the road and welded a new one on ..4 yrs later it was still straighter than the other side.. Any GOOD welder with a new spindle can fix it...

Isn't there a trailer place next door to Yowells? Maybe they can help you out, I bought 4 hubs from them 2 years ago.

That trailer place has moved. HEB bought the land and built a big store in that location. The trailer place you are talking about moved to loupe 340 it is now next to Marine Land Mercury dealer. They have all you need to repair a trailer. A friend bought the spindle, hub, bearings and seals from them. He took it to our local welder and he fix the axle. still rolling today. If you can get it to them they can fix it also. I forget their name by they are good with all trailers. Leggot trailers I think.
