The bolt that holds the bowl on my lower carb vibrated loose today. Noticed after putting it back together that the bowl leaks gas where it meets the carb when the motor is trimmed up. It appears the gasket is deteriorated. Can I buy a replacement gasket or use the gasket in a tube stuff? I'm obviously not a carb guy and learning to work on boat motors as I go... This is a 99 Force 120 hp. (One of the years these motors were made by Mercury Marine) thanks In advance

You might check at a local hardware store for a gasket that fits or cut a new one out of a plastic bottle. Then put a little Teflon on the threads to prevent it from coming out again

Thanks everyone. I found what I needed on iboats.com. Tommy-sorry ordered last night before I got your post, would've rather bought from you or one of the other regulars that post on here to help folks out. Im worried one day in the near future it will be hard to find parts for this Motor.
