I'm on the water practicing for a BASS divisional. My new HB 360 for my trolling motor isn't working. I've gone through the diagnostics and it's not being recognized. If anyone can give pointers I'd really appreciate it. Feel free to call. Thanks....chris @ 360-507-9759

Make sure your graph has the latest sw. One of the updates makes the units recognize 360

Is this the first time you turned it on since you got it?

It's all brand new. The dealer that installed it said he tested it. I've been fishing for a few days without it linking up.

Check the power from the 360 to the battery. Maybe in-line fuse has blown?

I just installed one this winter. I had a few issues I worked through. First register all equipment, then call H'bird for support. Erica Price is good to work with.
My advice, check software of all equipment, and check power everywhere including ethernet box. You will also need to make sure your network preferences are set properly (H'bird will intruct) to recognize the 360 tranducer.
Next, try to bypass ethernet box and connect directly to bow graph unit to see if its a problem with the ethernet. You need a second ethernet cable to go out of the 360 and directly into the bow unit.
If you have power to the 360 transducer (you should be able to hear it spinning a few minutes after turn on), and it will not recognize the 360 when going direct to bow unit bypassing ethernet, you may have a bad unit.

Thanks for all the help. Even had two guys call with help. Looks like a power issue. The dealer that installed it didn't do it correctly.
