How is the fishing at Lake Clark in Ennis. Does it hold lots of crappie? I am thinking of taking my son and the boat out Saturday. My choices are Lake Clark or Bardwell in Ennis. If there is any other lakes close by I would love to hear some feedback. Where would you guys try first?

Never fished either but have heard that bardwell is a pretty good crappie lake. I would try to shallow first 1-3 feet in flooded grass. If that does not work then back out to a little deeper water and fish in 10' about 6 feet down. good luck

TPWD rates Navarro Mills as an excellent crappie lake... don't know how it has been recently though.

Click reply. Then click fifth icon to the right. Has arrow pointing up.

Pretty easy.

May need to edit pic and make smaller to load though.
