Looking for 3-4 responsible fisherman to go in with me and lease a slip at Grapevine lake, Scotts Landing. Its a year long lease and rents for $250 a month. The staff there is top notch. Everyone I met on the marinas is super nice

The fishing is really good and the Marina even has private restrooms and a restaurant.

I have a slip there, but don't keep my boat there, so I don't have to provide insurance. I agree, good staff. I have a friend that is trying to put a group together.
The lake is rising, but who knows what the summer holds. I've been okay there, although it slowed a bit after the last cold front. Did good today.
Good luck with the group. I know where y'all can get some jigs that produce well on Grapevine. fish

Not sure which marina on Joe Pool you're talking about here. I have not seen anything on my dock at Joe Pool Marina that would warrant the statement that it is not family friendly. Several families have slips on the dock.

From my personal past experience at Lynn Creek Marina, I fished a lot at night in the summers with my kids near dock D and encountered several very intoxicated people. I know this happens everywhere, but I was thinking some of these people are actually boat owners and I cant imagine them being on the water. A friend of mine has had a slip out there for 5 years and he has told me some stories its just my opinion
