I fished lake Palestine for the first time ever today, had a pretty good outing caught several fish with these 3 keepers. Sorry all the pics are sideways that's just the way the forum uploaded them from my phone.

Nice Job! I fished palestine this past saturday and sunday as well. Didn't do very good, definitely not as good as you! Would you mind sharing some more info as to what part of the lake you fished and what baits you were throwing? Not trying to get your specific spots or anything, just trying to glean some general info as to what I should have done differently. Would love to get some more info from you!

The key for me was fishing wind blown banks that had new green vegetation in 2ft of water throwing soft plastics near kickapoo. (Didn't catch anything in still water or similar wind blown banks with dead grass)

@lews for life. Nice. I went to kickapoo on the first day and fished some backwaters but no windy banks. Second day I stayed on the NE side and started fishing windy points with rocks and that's how i got the most bites. broke two good ones off on a jig when I set the hook.... Looks like I was on the right track, just figured it out too late! thanks for the info!
