What lure(s) would you recommend using that all, or most, of these species will hit -- sunfish, crappie, whites, catfish, bass?

My initial thoughts would be a roadrunner, rooster tail/blue fox spinner, Grubs, beetle spin, jigs. Anything like those I think would give you a pretty good chance.

Thanks Jater07 for the suggestions. What size/weight roadrunner would you use?

Side Note: I know Night Crawlers are not lures but I still had to throw em in!

Haven't used Roadrunners in years but Beetle Spins in the 1/16th oz size are good. Kinda hard to find unless you shop online, most stores carry the 1/32d and 1/8th. The sixteenth are small enough for any fish but still heavy enough to cast a reasonable distance.

I may add that for sunfish the all American Night Crawler is the BEST by far. I use Canadian Night Crawlers because that is what WalMart carries. But they work great for me.

After looking at my lure arsenal I have Little Georges, small Berkley Jigs,Rooster Tails, and small Betsy Minnows. Also packs of the Berkley Trout Worms in both natural and orange colors. All of these baits have gotten me SUPER results. Side Note: Still can't beat a live worm!

already been covered, but my favorite in my pond is a 1.5" Big Bite Crawfish on a 1/16 oz jig. I have literally caught every species in my pond with it (except my baitfish).

Thank you very much guys. Appreciate it. Have some of the things listed, but need to do a little shopping. Couldn't agree more with you Banker on worms, but hard to keep them with me all the time when I'm fishing with my buddy mostly for bass. I plan to start taking a light action rod along and throw the little baits when bass fishing is dead, like it has become so often on Lake Austin since they stocked the grass carp that removed 100% of the vegetation. Gill population dropped drastically also after they removed all the cover.

I would hold off going to the tackle shop. Hopefully "Jagg" will respond to your post. I am sure he will add some super lures that will give you some good results. I think that is all he uses is artificial baits.

All of the above mentioned baits are good. I may add I love the Gulp Alive baits. The small minnows, worms, leaches, and Crawdads have gotten me some nice fish. Gills and Bass love em.

Gulp Alive has a cricket which looks just like a live one. I just bought a bottle and cannot wait to try them. To answer the lure question: I have good luck with small road runners.
