Son in law brought his truck over and showed me his latest project. He painted the front grill of his truck black to match the body. Looked awesome. He then proceeded to show me the paint he used and it was a product like the bed liner that is in a spray paint can. Not only looks good but seems to be a better product to prevent chipping etc. I went to Auto Zone and got me a can of it. I have an old white truck and the bed is pretty beat up and scratched. I decided it might be worth it to try this stuff. It said it puts down a non slick surface. I painted the inside of my tailgate just to get a feel for it. Turns out I could do a little touch up on it but it actually looked really good (especially compared to the look before I painted it) and the surface once it dries is pretty non slick. It may take me a few cans but for a simple inexpensive project I think this is going to really work out for me. I also used it to spray inside my wheel wells and looks good there to. I am going to have him help me do the grill and front end of my truck also which really makes a difference in the looks. It might be like putting earrings on a pig but I love my old truck and anything I can do to keep it running and looking good I am all for it. I don't remember the actual brand but thought I would post this.

Used to be a place in Garland. Check with a local auto dealers service department for a recommendation.

It may be worth you while to find a line x dealer. I have had it in my last two trucks and have been very pleased.
