Lake is full and water is stained. Visibility is about 2 foot on the northeast end. Water temp 57 degrees. Found bass on drop offs using plastics in about 10 to 12 feet of water. Looked like only one unit running today. Could not locate any crappie today. Did not see any floaters today but with so much new water in the lake it's very possible so keep your eyes peeled.

Ditto for the11th. Pretty much a dink fest, but we did manage a few decent ones. Muddy water north, stained on the cold side, temps around 55 with one stack smoking.

Hey Hog, did you fish Martin Saturday the 14th?
Both parking lots were packed, big tourney. I caught around a dozen from 1 ft to 12 biggest was 5.4 in the grass on a magnum finess worm t-rig. Water is warming up should get good fast.

I was there Saturday. Good grief at all the boats. I had a very humbling day. I tried to locate crappie most of the day with very little luck so I figured to finish out the day bass fishing and it got worse. I got a new depth finder so I spent awhile just graphing some spots. Sounds like you had a good day. Haven't had a day like that on Martin in a long time but that's ok, it keeps me in check. lol. I did catch a huge tilapia and broke my line when I tried to hoist it in the boat. Think I'll try Murval tomorrow.
