I went out again this morning and caught about another 20, although not the monsters that palestine is known for, I had a blast and it was a nice change to catch more than 2 or 3. I strongly believe pepop's jigs were the difference makers for me. I was averaging 3-4 for every 1 that was caught around me. I've never been blamed for catching them all and I was told that twice today by a few groups. It was all about the presentation they wanted it slow trolling over the pilings/brush piles where I was. The other guys were mainly fishing minnows and kept things stationary.

I did get out yesterday and last night, but could not get a bite all day. At night, I picked off a couple, but then moved to a lit dock. Hooked up with a huge sandie and a 4lb. hybrid(according to my pull-o-matic scale)! Still all on pepop's jigs! If you plan on hitting palestine I'd highly recommend his jigs, it was definitely the difference maker this weekend for me. Thanks Pepop!
