Someone from the club needs to go out and have a look at the stretch of Hwy 515 that their club has adopted to keep clean. The road looks pretty bad and doesn't reflect well on the LFSA. Especially since there is a sign that states they are responsible to keep it clean....just saying

this not something we just started. We have been cleaning that strecth of road since 2001. And even while picking up we have had persons throwing stuff out I guess "just to make us feel bad?"
a week after it is done "haters" throw whole bags out. Tell me why?
if we publish the date will you come and help out "retired". 90% of our association are retired. A lot of us are in our 70's with health issues. Do you think we are the right folks to be out on the highway picking up trash?
We do a lot of things for lake Fork and the surrounding communites. Check out our website at LFSA.com.

he LFSA is planning a road cleanup on March 29 with a rain date on April 5th. A lot of times by the time we get around to it after the weather has broken then the grass is to long. You would be surprised what we find crawling around in that tall grass over the years.
We usually start around 11 AM. But I have not seen an official time as yet.
Also On Monday March 23 we will be assisting TPWD on planting 500 button bushes leaving from Oak Ridge. Bring boots and a shovel. Starting about 8 AM and if we don't get them all planted moving onto Tuesday as well.
The LFSA meets the 2nd Tuesday at 6:45 PM at Oak Ridge. If you want to get involved on projects going on around Lake Fork join us.
361v you are welcome to come and help out.
