Heat up a jighead for a few seconds and dip. Repeat if neccessary. Then bake at 350 for about 15-20 minutes.

1.pour said powder into a small shallow dish of some sort.. 2.take a lighter and heat head for 4-5 seconds(dont let it soot) 3.dip head quickly into powder,tap off excess 4.Run back under the heat for a second or 2(dont let it soot) As quick as you loose jigs dont worry about curing them in the oven  It will make the paint much stronger if you want to cure,,325 degrees for 12-15 min

A butane lighter is less likely to soot. We wanna see the finished product bud, preferably with a big Ol' crappie stuck on it!

As quick as you loose jigs dont worry about curing them in the oven .............. and that's what i tell my other half when she asks all the time where are the ones ya just had last week ? i tell her the same thing everytime they don't last very long when i drop em

not yet sir ....
I spend a fair share of my spare time losing jigs in fish and such
like last night
then when its terribly not good for ketchn I paint a few up

my other half is now laughing at me thanks yawl for making me look silly yet again she says you could have painted them with nail polish and been done with 20 jig heads faster than it took you to mess up 4 in a row with the new powder paint program

Ketchn you can use a Dremel to take off bad paint job! Also don't know what your heating with, but I use an alcohol burner. It's easier on the ears than a heat gun and Barnes clean! Then got to make sure to fluff that paint before dip! Then a very fast dip and side to side and out all in one step. It really helps to use a fluid bed.
