About to purchase a Lowrance HDS 9 Gen 2 ? What chip do you recommend ? Electronics have came along way since I have purchased anything new and a little overwhelming, not to mention expensive ! Your input is appreciated.

I would get the Navionics Platinum edition. I have the premium and wish I would have spent the extra money. JMHO

Lakemaster doesn't work with Lowrance, so don't compare it.
