I agree with your post. It will take me years to get to 100 posts, so I can try to sell something here. I understand not allowing a brand new member to sell, but 100 posts? I lurk and respond here all the time, but rarely post, as I don't have anything noteworthy to add.
I have a new Chronarch C14+ I want to sell, but can't advertise it here.

A 100 posts is too steep. There are people like me looking for a kayak, and good people here cant advertise them. I guess its back to Craigslist .
