Ok I was runing down the lake then my boat started to beep I look and was low on oil and filled it up it was really low and the hole day I was fishing and would not stop beeping what do you thank????

Sound like the small oil reservoir inside the motor is low.
Need to add a little oil to it.

Is there oil in the small reservoir on the side of the motor?

Will look and see if that's not it then what ?

Could be an obstruction in the line. Same happened to me - found a small leaf.

This is what happens if it is not full and the float inside that small reservoir falls below a certain level. Had it happen to me one time when I was 30 miles off shore. Started beeping on the way out to the Snapper Banks. Stopped and filled the tank back up, did not realize I had to top off the small reservoir under the cowling, and drove another 10 miles out and all the way back with it beeping. Kind of ruins a nice 3 hour boat ride if you know what I mean. Once I got back in cell range I called a buddy and he told me. What happens is when the emergency reservoir starts being used, the float lowers and somehow gets wedged in the reservoir and somehow stops the venting process and a lower pressure is created causing a vacuum, the wires that go to the tank are simply measuring pressure so that when a vacuum or lower pressure is sensed the beeper goes off until the float is removed and seal is broken.

Had the same thing happen a few years back on a Merc,stopped and filled w/ oil, still beeping,so I trolled in,took it to the shop and the oil sensing unit had gone bad.Just a thought for you to have checked.

Loosen the small tank cap, run the engine for five minutes, and let it bleed the air out, you're welcome.

I just went through this whole ordeal about a month ago. There are several things that could be wrong, but you've gotta give us some info to work with starting with the level of the oil in the small reservoir on the motor.

It could be a sensor in the small reservoir.
It could be a sensor in the large reservoir.
It could be the 12v pump that sends oil from the small reservoir to the big one.
Most likely, it's the screen on the side of your big reservoir that is simply clogged up and needs to be cleaned.

I know this doesn't help much, but this is the reason I disconnected mine and just mix oil and gas when I fill the boat up. That way I know for sure the engine is getting oil and I don't have to worry about it.
