I have an 04 200 pro xl with a 225 Evinrude Direct Inject. I'm running a 26 Raker on it, as I wanted a 3 blade to replace the Renegade that came with it. It jumps out of the hole but as the nose breaks over, it blows out. I have to feather it a lot to get it to come out right and lose a lot of holeshot doing so. I'm not sure how far below the pad I have it set up, but when I tried to lower the jack plate, it seemed to get worse. I started coming back up in 1/4" increments and it started getting better, but I lost my socket in the water. I am going to run it and make some more adjustments when I get home from work in a week. Just looking for any feedback and suggestions that might speed up the process. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like prop height is off 'should he 3.5 to 3.75 and are you running the raker when it does this on a 8 in. Jack what are the R's at wot

Jack plate is 6 inches and RPMS are over 6000 at WOT. Between 6000-6300 depending on engine height. eventually I may have it pitched up, but I want to see how it will do once the water warms up. I'm not running it much over 5500 RPMs. Just want to get out of the hole better.

original raker vent holes are small, so if it's blowing out..
it either has bent blades, and or the cupping is outa whack!

I dont think pitch is your problem here ,Hey steve that 6300 could be the prop out a whack but he really needs to get the prop shaft height for you so you can make a determination on a solution don't you still have how to on your website

If I have it pitched up, it won't be for the hole shot, it would be to gain a little on top end. The prop was old stock but a new prop, so I wouldn't think it would be damaged. I have only run it the one time
