I am looking to install a hydraulic jack plate on my Z9. I was looking at the T-H Atlas w/ 10" set back. Questions- Is anyone got any first hand experience with it. Second- Can I mount my power poles on it. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

I just installed one on a new Z9 a few weeks ago, went very smooth you may have to trim the black transom moulding , and yes power poles or Talons easily mount to them.

Thanks. I looked at Bob's Machine shop, but like the rods better on the Atlas

Do you have to order the wiring harness and gauge kit separately. What does the unit come with

The gauge is not very accurate, the engine can very about a half inch from one number to the next, I am just using the marker tape that is on the jack plate itself on my new boat.

Makes an awesome difference! Worth it. You can mount PP with the bracket

Installed one on a buddy's boat. Jackplate is actually two pieces bolted together. We unbolted the hydraulic assembly from the brackets that bolt to transom. Took brackets to machine shop and they milled about a 1/16" off top of brackets to clear the transom molding. The molding on his boat was Stainless steel. You will need a trim switch unless you want to use the rocker type one that comes with it. [Have to cut square cutout in dash]. We used the finger flex trim switch that they sell for the jackplate. Clamps around steering wheel column. Do not have to pull steering wheel if you use this one. I don't think the finger flex trim switch will work on tilt steering. Would recommend the hole shot plate that mounts to the bottom of the jackplate also. The position gauge is very nice. You will need to drill a hole in console for the gauge or remove a gauge and replace. You can view all this on TH Marine website. Good Stuff.
