I just purchased and HDS7 gen 2 touch. I bought the boat with a gen one at the console. The sonar transducer is glassed in. I am moving the gen one to the front where an x135 is. My question is, can the transducer from gen one be used on the gen two an the x135 on the gen one? Of course I will install the lss-2 for the gen two. Thank you all for any input.

Just a suggestion, but I would install the Gen 2 touch on the front and purchase an HDI transducer to have 2D and downscan on the bow locator. You would still have SS on the Gen one unit at the console.
