Wanted to send a quick thanks and shout out to AggieKenny, who was kind enough to send me some of his hand tied jigs. The jigs look really good, and I particularly liked the green and chartreuse. I only had about an hour to test them over the weekend, right as the sun was setting. The fish wanted the red and white. Couldn't find the crappies, but caught two decent bass and lost a bigger one as the hook straightened out. Bass haven't been biting bass lures of late, but have been hitting the crappie jigs. Thanks again Kenny and will post more when I've had more time on the water.

You are welcome. Glad you like them. Hope they put some crappie in the boat.

I'm sure they will, crappie have just been absent the last couple times I've been out. I know they are in there, just not sure what they are doing. The bass appear to be swarming the brushpiles and fattening up for the spawn, so the crappie may have temporarily relocated.
