Was wondering with all this cold weather if some bass may still be moving up to bed with the full moon this week? Live in Lufkin so wondering more about local lakes like rayburn, Nacogdoches, and kurth.

Full moon and spawning means nothing when the water temps are 47-52

If you get a constant 3-4 days of warm weather and water temps hit 55 around full moon you could have some fish spawn. But not many some fish will spawn in colder water but most won't really try and love up till 58-60

Gonna be a late mate.

I can tell you I was at Rayburn this weekend and the bucks are staging in the backs right at the old lake level.. There were a few females caught hanging with them.. Talking like 8ft of water right on the edge of the spawning flats.. They are sitting there waiting for the water temp to rise.. We caught 15 keepers on Saturday with 48 degree water.. biggest was 4.30 lbs.

When her water breaks she will spew them eggs out! Mother Nature will tell her it's times I until then she will eat eat and eat and become a bigger SAL.
