I hope you're well. My boss has gotten the yak addiction BAD. After getting out with a buddy of ours (thanks, Dale!) and then doing lots of research (and asking a ton of good questions), he's hoping to purchase a yak next week. He plans to demo, and he's being smart about his purchase.

However, he asked me today about a boat ACK told him about that I don't know much about - the Viking Reload. So I thought I'd ask about it. If you own one or have paddled one, what did you think of it? I plan to compile the information for him. He plans to demo before buying, but he'd like to be prepared.

He's a tall guy, but really thin (if he weighs 200 lbs, it's soaking wet). He plans to sometimes fish and sometimes just paddle around. I think he plans to use it mostly on lakes, but with some possibility of marsh annd coastal use. I don't think he cares if he can stand or not. He's not a super-serious fisherman, so it's general paddle-abilty is probably more important even than its angler readiness.
