Can the "Boat Lanes" chips/maps be used on a Lowrance Elite 7HDI?

I don't have a Lowrance Elite 7HDI but it should not be a problem. The Boat Lanes "chip" is just a collection of waypoints and tracks that you load to your unit. Once they are loaded to your unit, they are there until you delete them. I got the Fork, Rayburn, Toledo Bend combo several years ago & I highly recommend it. It has been very useful especially on Toledo Bend. I just downloaded the file from their site instead of ordering the actual chip.

Thanks to all of you who responded. I finally got in contact with Vince at "Boat Lanes" and got the answer to my question. The Elite 7 HDI can use the Boat Lanes data, but it has to be downloaded via a computer. Since the Elite 7 only accepts a micro chip, it cannot accept the Boat Lanes micro card chip.

Can't you download to a microSD card using a SD adaptor??????
