I know we've touched on this topic before with 6XD crankbaits filling with water and sinking but I had hoped they had fixed this issue but no. I'm organizing my tackle today and opened up a few more out of the package and there are holes between the hook keepers on front and back! I've personally had at least 10 that have done this and once they fill up they lose action. Come on Strike King fix your problem. I shouldn't have to take everyone and glue the hole shut.

Call them and they will happily fix the issue for you and do more than compensate you for your trouble. I understand being angry but they have absolute amazing customer service. Complaining about it most likley won't get you as far.

They were very easy to deal with when I had this problem before and I was very satisfied with the replacements I got in return

I had the issue with about 4 of them once. I just held onto them and sent them in and they replaced them.

When you have 4 of the same color the fish are hitting in a tournament and you break one off then the other 3 sink. That's when I complain. I don't need replacements. I need the problem fixed. I have a lot of confidence in the XD series crankbaits and I just want their QC to step it up a little and stop packaging crankbaits with problems.

Sounds like you were aware of the issues before your latest problem. Taking two minutes to examine the baits before you buy them might be a good idea if you already suspect they have a QC problem. I don't think anyone here can fix the problem.

Its not about crying about it its about buying a quality product they need to fix it! I like SK as much as anyone and always will we shouldn't have to inspect before we buy it my 2 cents.

Wouldn't filling with water and sinking be a good thing for a deep diver? You could get more depth out of it.

Thanks for the heads up and yes we have discussed this issue on here before.Their cranks will catch fish but the quality has always been hit or miss.A person buying shouldn't have to inspect them in the package before purchasing. They need to fix the problem.

I agree we shouldn't have to examine products before buying! But I have other brands that had a defect on occasion and I know that so a quick look doesn't hurt! Like SK I don't like their non rattling baits! I know the packaging to which ones aren't and are rattling but I always pick it up and give it a shake to see and make sure! But complaining here isn't going to do any good! No real sympathy from most of us! Just do what u got to do to get it fixed... Make the company aware and if it takes a quick 5 second examine to make sure the stuff ur buying is good to go isn't that bad... Imo of course

Call SK customer service and they will fix it.

I've returned some to BPS that did that and they swapped them out no questions asked, but I did purchase them there.

why is it that you are giving STRIKE KING a pass on this QC issue. A lot of you even know(knew) about the issue but continue to buy the product. 90% of you say, just send the CB in--they will replace it.
100% of you are saying I wish they would fix the problem so I don't have to worry when I buy one again.
BUT,,,,,,,
let a Livingston Lure not "chirp" and you will never, ever buy one of their crank baits again. Then you proceed to trash the company left and right. Just because the company is trying to do something different "most" guys on here think they are a gimmick.
Have you ever really looked at all the "gimmick" things Strike King does to a lure to get the eye of the fisherman so he buys one of their lures ? Now you talk about a quality issue like it is just a nuisance to you but you will still spend $12 on their product.

I don't have a dog in this race & I am not connected to Livingston, I just find it funny that the same issue is treated differently.
