It was a very tough day. I had a 5 pounder my second cast, but not another bite all day. Congrats to those guys. Heck of a sack of fish!

I'm going to "go out on a limb" and say that Todd and his partner have Palestine dialed in right now!!! Two first places and a second place in the past month (media and fom)...

Awesome job!

Yep, we were humbled...three bites all day and two small keepers. 31.52 is astonishing in conditions like today's and we can't congratulate them enough.

They have it more than dialed in. They absolutely blew my mind today. Maybe one of the most impressive things I've seen in fishing.

I think Todd has earned the right to the title of the best on Palestine over the last two years, he's bringing his partner Stephen along really well in the tournament game. Stephen Phillips compliments him well. Still have to keep a close eye on Kevin Hatcher and Patrick Fuller as they have teamed up last year and this year. Won't be long before they dial them in either.

Palestine is always a slug fest between these guys, fun to watch!

Yea that was an impressive sack for 39-46 degree water. Especially with the South having the warmer water which is completely against everything palestine I know. Heard from most that the bite was shallow shallow and them first looked ready to pop and one team said last week they found some on beds so guess they didn't move with the 8-10 degree water temp drop over the past week. Of course me and my partner decided that with the water temp drop and the cold weather conditions the bass would've moved off a bit. One bite all day and lost that. A lot of big fish weighed not many small fish that's for sure towards end of day we noticed people flipping which is my favorite thing to do guess we just found the pattern to late. Made the trip to start in Kickapoo and hit the channel and points to no bites than headed down south after a quick trip through old folks.

Still a lot to learn of this lake I call home. Just can't figure them out 50 degrees or less.

I agree Ronnie, Congratulations to Steven and Todd especially as finicky Palestine fish get when the water temperature crashes and they still figured out the shallow bite. Happy Birthday Todd!!!

Thanks Ronnie. Me and my partner were really humbled on the standing ovation we received at the pre tournament dinner. I Plan on a write up about the support and feelings that brought on and share a little about us and our cause.

Hopefully next meeting I can have the floor for a few minutes to express what that meant and what drives us and our cause of Fishing for PTSD recovery,
