Hello All,

I appreciate the feedback if any of you can identify what kind of head I can buy from Humminbird that will work with this bracket and the transducer that is already wired and installed in the used boat I just purchased. I was thinking rather than have to purchase an entire new setup perhaps I can find just the head on ebay or something.

It fits the Matrix, 300, 500, 600 and 700 series Humminbird units

It is the MSM mount and there is a slightly different model with a different cable collector for the Ethernet capable 700 series models.

Found it on Amazon and says "Compatible with all Matrix units except 97 and 500 series."

That is false. Amazon knows nothing about it.

We already gave you the correct information.
I have two of them on my desk and one on my boat.
Plus I used to have a Matrix 97.

Only the 600 series units are current models.

Thanks I wanted to double check as I found the picture that looked like the same model. Will the transducers work with different heads? How do I identify which one I have? I did not see any stamp on it.

If the transducer is not a DI, any unit can use it for 2D sonar.
There should be a label on the transducer cable about 12" from the plug.

The transducer plug looks like it has three pins, it is probably a Dual Beam with temp. XNT 9 20 T or XTM 9 20 T. The plug on the right is the power cord.

A DI transducer is long and narrow.

Thanks. Now the dealer I bought the boat from was finally able to get a hold of the prior owner. They are going to drop off the old unit and send it to me. I have no idea what series it is, but will find out soon enough.

The plug on the left does have 3 pins.
