If you had the money would you buy from here?

I just dont get why some website are way cheaper than others i mean who would buy it for $2299.99 from humminbird when you can get it for $1884.95????

Sounds fishy to me could someone elaborate for me?

If Humminbird FactoryOutletStore is where you looked, it is not. If you look up Lowrance FactoryOutletStore, it is the same place. It is a name only and not affiliated with either. They are as much a factory outlet store as Walmart is for Samsung TV's

Humminbird's web site shows MSRP. You can pay that at Bass Pro, or you can shop at a marine electronics dealer for less. CALL for their best prices. Most adhere to MAP price guidelines.

I have also bought from them and they are legit. That is also a great price on the 1199 and the HB rebate of $300 is above and beyond that, so that makes it an even better deal. An 1199 for$1600 and change doesn't get any better.
Like Wayne said, the factory outlets are a joke and anyone else who sells for full MSRP is also. There's no reason to pay full price at Cabela's or anywhere else.
The thing that pushes my button are the places that advertise a low price, but when you really look at it, they are getting full retail price and the discount is your rebate which you would have gotten anyway. The funny thing about that is that thee places seem to forget that there are other places to buy the same product.

I purchased my 998 from Digital for a great price as well. They will usually call and ask you to confirm your order as well. Great service

They show the KVD version, but according to HB website, the two versions have the same MSRP. Not surprisingly, some stores are selling it for more because it contains a DVD and has a red button on the unit. More marketing/selling tactics.

I just bought from Universal Mania, they have good reviews on the fishing forums and it you email them and ask for a lower price than what is listed, they will probably do that too, just give a couple of days for them to answer the email. I bought the 999ci, And one hour later they emailed me saying I could have it for 70 dollars cheaper. Good Site The price was lower than Digital Oasis which has terrible reviews as well as Factory Outlet.

I got my approval from Humminbird for my $200 rebate. This was from Univeral Mania where I bought it. When I was filling out the registration for the rebate, Universal Mania was not listed, so I used All Resellers. Had no problems with humminbird accepting it. Just read carefully what paper work to submit. I submitted my order form from my email and the email where Pay Pal paid them. I got my 999 for $1322.00 plus the 200 rebate. Made it like $1122.
See my above where if you email Universal Mania and ask for a better price they will email you back and give you a quote. Just takes a couple of days, once you get the quote call the salesman on the phone who gave you the quote and go from there. Good Luck
