Will "Boat Lanes work in a Lowrance Elite 7 HSI? I have emailed "Boat Lanes" technical support 2x and called once to get an answer to this question, but have received no response.

My bad. I should have said Elite 7 HDI. I guess I watched too many CSI reruns today while waiting for it to stop snowing.

Ok, I was waiting for a Elite user to positively answer your question. I only use HDS units.
I might be wrong, but here is an answer:

Elites support only GPX, USRv2 & USRv3. Lance Vick's Boatlanes comes in these formats. Except Vick's new Lake o' the Pines Boatlanes which comes in GPX & USRv4 only. Boatlanes is more geared toward HDS & Humminbird units. So you should be able to import Boatlanes into your Elite.

The brand of mapping you are using might also have to be considered. HDS units have faster processors than Elite units.
I have read of Elite users having Navionic map speed issues because of Elite's slower processors when running a high boat speeds. The additional Boatlane waypoints & tracks could make that issue worse.

Hopefully an Elite user will respond also.
