Am rigging up several rods and can't decide whether to fish a Baby Brushhog on a Texas Rig or a Carolina Rig. Which rig do you like best for this bait?

I always have one rigged both ways, but it depends on the depth and structure your fishing to give you a good answer to limit it to one presentation.

Trig then but don't be scared to throw it on a light crig shallow I even throw one at times with a 1/8 oz weight and short leader.

I generally prefer the bulk of a full size Brushhog for Texas Rig but the Baby Brushhog is one of my favorite "go-to" Carolina Rig baits.

I like Carolina early spring! Throw in staging areas and just outside normal bedding areas. Hold on!

Use a peg with a 1/8 to 3/16 weight, fish it both ways on same set up.

That's my go-to Carolina rig plastic. I mainly use a regular size brush hog for flipping but I take off the curly tails and dip the legs in dip n glo. Or I'll use a full baby brush hog and dip the curly tails in the die

C-rig to cover water. I still use a 1/2-3/4oz weight but I shorten the leader to about 18 inches.
Tx. rig if you are targeting specific cover.

Take a serious look at the split shot rig.

Use a peg with a 1/8 to 3/16 weight, fish it both ways on same set up. This time of year, I recommend this as well. I use a Carolina keeper, then you can slide it down the line if you want to fish it like a Texas rig.
