I made this short video few weeks ago and I go over what might cause bow unit interference. I also will have 3 more videos coming out about interference on your depth finders on our Facebook page.

Next version show how to check for a bent shaft which causes RFI also.

The Eliminator helps with vibration also-- I have the black one.

1) Make sure all ground wires have good connections.
2) attach a ground wire to the skeg of the trolling motor by drilling and installing a screw or bolt. Run the wire up the trolling motor, through the mount and attach the end to the negative side of the trolling motor female plug.

I have installed dozens of these and it has solved all interference issues every time.

Drilling through the skeg opens the unit up to corrosion. You need to ground to the low side of the brush plate assembly inside the motor, run the wire through the shaft and ground to the boat side negative. I have done hundreds of these and it works.only time it diddnt work was a center console with 6 batteries all in the console. All the wires were bundled together and causing the interference.
