I've seen pictures of boats on here with a strap around the cover on Lowrance units. Wondering if you can buy them or did they make them themselves?

I use a small bungee cord, I've never seen anybody sell a strap just for this purpose it's possible I suppose though. You can use a battery strap if you'd like, doesn't take much.

I got tired of dust and bugs as well as worrying about the screen cover so I talked my wife into making some cloth sacks to cover my units. It keeps off dust, bugs and dew on the way to and from the lake.

I use one of the small bungee cords so I can keep the cover on at all times until I get to the lake.

I like the 550 cord idea. Thanks for all the ideas.

I was always losing bungee so I use sticky Velcro. Just glue a 1 inch piece on inside of cover and a 1 inch piece on outside of depth finder This ended problem. Johnny
