Just got back from the Bassmaster Classic last night and boy did we have a good time! Special thanks to all of the great folks at Skeeter for giving us the VIP treatment. If you don't fish the Skeeter owners tournament, you really should because if you are lucky enough to win a trip to the Classic you will have a blast! My wife and I got to hang out with all of the pros and sponsors at the Hotel, Expo, Launch and Weigh-in. As usual, BASS did and outstanding job this year and we never ran out of exciting things to do for our entire trip. Having an opportunity to attend the Hall of Fame induction banquet and Toast of Champions will be memories that will last forever. Being just a local DFW tournament angler and working for a living I really look up to all of the pros that promote our sport. I can tell you that they may be the best fishermen on the planet but they are also the are the most down to earth and friendliest as well. Isn't it great that in our sport and even at that level people will take the time to make others feel right at home. Goes to show that fishing is such a common thread for all of us that creates one big family and one we should all be proud to be part of. To all of the pros and everyone behind the scenes that endured the elements and worked so hard to make this event successful, big congratulations! If you ever have a chance to attend a Classic you won't regret it.
