Anybody use them when fishing the thick stuff ? I have a hard time finding good ones, I think the ones I like are the Arkie head, they have a thin cable looking weed guard, what are you guys using for a weedless head ?

I use them all the time. They are custom pours from Paul Mullins in Vicco Kentucky. Good Guy!

His email is baitmaker2000@hotmail.com

He will pour any size hook & weight you will need for crappie fishing.

I just got some weedless crappie jig heads in the mail, from
www.sliderfishing.com which I read about in a crappie how to book.
Can't wait to try them.

I fished those charlie brewer sliders once over at Ray Roberts. I dragged them through the thick brush and they would not hang up. I also got a lot of hits that never hooked up.

Just get regular jigs. Weedless is often fishless.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

I have been fishing weedless ball jig heads for 20 years. I buy them at WalMart. They come unpainted but a little pro-Tec powder paint in hot pink of course and you are ready to go. I can drag them through any cover with no problems and I have never thought that they caused me to lose any fish.
