I just looked at USGS and noticed that Lavon has been on a slow rise since mid December. Anyone know anything about this? All I know is that I like it...

Called Collin today to see if they were going to open their ramp. They said it will take 1 more ft.

True, It has been on a climb.

But only a foot higher at this point than last year. Definitely better than being a foot lower at this point.

Come on rain!

A steady climb as in water being pumped in is what I see? Is the Texoma line going into the lake now, wasn't suppose to?

The texoma water only goes into the wylie treatment facility. The reason for the rise is associated with the texoma pipeline though. If i heard right Roughly 40% of the water for that district is now coming from texoma. Which means 40% less water from lavon. Which will hopefully lead to a full Lavon down the road!!

Looking at recent rainfall, and with similar rises at Ray Hubbard & Tawakoni, I dont see it having to do with pumping.

I believe the increase has been due to rain and runoff.

You know after I looked at other lakes, I started thinking the same thing. The gradual increase threw me off a little. Usually you see spikes when it rains. Maybe we are finally starting to get some runoff. Now it needs to pour and we'll make some headway!
