Question for you guys. I was wanting to spend some time in my yak this Sunday on Tawakoni. I'm not looking to set on anybody's good fishing spots, I have three places to launch that I think will be good. Question is this, how deep will the cats be this Sunday with the rain coming and temps rising? Thanks!

Go to the cabelas weigh in saturday, they usually will give depth after the tourney

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

They weigh the fish live at the tourney......I would fish close to the release site.....lol bolt

Find a point or place with some shallow water below the the boat.15'maybe...
Make sure there is deep water close by.30'
Fish it all and the cats will tell on them selves.

Then again they may all be sore lipped by Sunday grin

I catch them in 3-6ft almost every weekend, all winter long. Some days more than others, but I almost always catch them.
Gotta love Tawakoni!
