If the forecast holds out, I am looking to head to lewisville on sunday for the first time. Any advice on hazards and what the fishing is like would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Fish slow, big fish seem to be caught on plastics most times, last week my friend who fishes LL pretty regular said they were deep on brush hogs. Good Luck!

Take a rabbits foot, a lucky horseshoe, lots of patience, your Hydrowave, color c-lector (helicopter lure if you have one) and all of the confidence you can muster. None of that works for me. I have left empty handed since the temps dropped. (But then again, I'm not much of a fisherman)

hazards to watch out for. Main lake area. out in the middle toward the pier 121 cut and north of there going towards Cottonwood I would say. Big stumps! They are sticking out of the water now a little ways with the lake being low. Other than just be mindful of the main lake points coming out a good ways. Oh and good luck. If you are good at fishing dams you may try there. Other than unless you are prefishing for an upcoming tourney I wouldn't waste my time. Only reason I fish it is because its less than a mile from my front door to the ramp.
