1st job was to install a stereo so when the wife goes along she has something to keep her entertained...
It's Bluetooth and is right under the glove box where I can keep my phone safe and dry!
Radio and Splash guard installed
Cut some small panels to hold 6x9s and carpeted them with some left over carpet.
removed tweeter and moved them up and out from under the dash so they don't sound muffled.
(should have dusted before taking pics lots of fiberglass dust...
)
Added some smaller speakers to the front panel incase I want to listen too but don't want to have to crank it up.
Job 2 add removable trolling motor bracket.
Add a volt meter (fuel gauge) to the trolling motor.
It's LED and works only when the power button is pushed and it shows full battery voltage regardless of the speed it is set to. Even when the speed control is set to off I can still see the condition of the trolling motor batteries by hitting the button.
3rd job make all new dash panels and glove box door out of 1/4" aluminum reorganize gauges add small Eagle Cuda GPS graph to use as speedometer (it was free and I can't wait to crush that top speed recorded!)
Here it is all lit up. I have a few small things to finish up but overall I am ready for spring! (Not too shabby for a 25 year old boat!)
