Here's a few pics from this past week. Had a junior angler catch a fish that was less than four ounces from setting the record. Had a couple days that they bit real good and a couple that they didn't. Most the fish we have been catching have been completely stuffed with bait. So stuffed that it looked like they'd pop if they are another one. We are still getting big fish and I've seen several fish over 20lbs this last week. I haven't got one to the boat yet but I had a couple really nice ones and a couple that I never got a look at. It was a great week on Lake Texoma. The weather outside is tough so I'll be spending a few days at home with the family. Y'all be careful out there if you have to be out in it.

Wow those are huge! When do the stripers spawn? Are the full of eggs or just eating inpreparation for spawn?

They spawn from March to May. They don't all do it at the same time. They are full of eggs but they aren't ready to go yet. Just let as many big ones go as you can. I've been releasing the big ones and keeping the smaller ones when I can.

Wow John those are some huge fish. I can't wait until spring when us neophytes can luck into a few of those fish.

Thanks for the post and pics. Sure beat looking out the window on the weather that set back water temps three weeks. I just pray we don't get a shad kill.
