Very slow day Thursday in the shallows with the South winds . Think the air temps were still in the 30's when Plano James and I hiked down to the bank. Managed to land some quality fish on the day despite the slow bite and it made for a enjoyable & relaxing day . Weather cooperated in the afternoon and warmed up to the high 50's . We finished the day around sundown with a 42, 53, 54, 32 and only a few other runs that didn't hook up. Good times...... 42  53  54

I wish that was my slow day on the bank . great catches though, what bait were you hooking up? Ace, we was using fresh shad. Sometimes it's crazy how fishing from the bank can be real slow at times and then all of the sudden some fish will move through. As long as ya got some good bait out in a likely depth and area where fish move given the weather pattern there is a chance of some good fish moving through.

Thanks guys, probably one of my best days of fishing on Lavon.
The fish came in real slow throughout the day but by sundown I was pretty happy with the results.
