Got a tournament coming up in a couple of weeks at Lake Winnsboro and wondering if anyone has a recommendation on a motel that's safe and clean in the area...

Could always fallback to the Oakridge Marina area, but just curious if there's something in the Quitman/Winnsboro area that would put us closer...

Any suggestions welcome...

Do not stay at the Towner Motel in Quitman just off of the square. A tent and a sleeping bag would be better accommodations....

I would stay around Fork and make the 20 min drive! You can cut across the Cartwright highway as a back way to the ramp and it's not very far from Fork!

There's a bed and breakfast in town that's nicer than most any place you could stay....I'll get the # if you want it.
