Im thinking about installing a hotfoot and blinker trim on my rig. Anyone have any experience installing these? Can I do it myself? Thanks in advance....

They are not to bad normally need a 1ft longer throttle cable. Check You Tube for DIY.

I have both on my old Ranger the Hot foot can be a challenge especially if your throttle cable is too short so you might need a longer one. Also take the cowling off and see where wot is and make sure when you hit the hot foot it goes to the correct position also tighten the spring on the hot foot pedal as far as you can handle it. Nothing like having your throttle stick wide open! I went with a vertical loaded hot foot and gained a little more space for my legs so consider that too before you buy.
As for the blinker trim switch it relatively easy it's only 3 wires and should splice in to existing trim wires. I'm sure others will chime in too.

TBS got it all, pretty easy. just tie the trim into the wires coming out of your control box, leave the current throttle cable and just stash it in the bilge area (do not unhook it from the front control) in case the hot foot breaks you have a back up.
