Im thinking about installing a hotfoot and blinker trim on my rig. Anyone have any experience installing these? Can I do it myself? Thanks in advance....

Yes both are doable as long as you are semi handy.

Have you ever taken your steering wheel off?

Taking a steering wheel off of a boat can be a real pain. I wound up having to buy a 3-point puller to get mine off. The rental pullers at Hi-Lo wouldn't do the job. I then had to cut three small notches into the steering wheel hub in order to make room for the puller fingers to fit into. I wound up replacing the hydraulic helm (as planned), the trim/jack plate blinker switches (as planned), the steering wheel (not planned) and the steering wheel hub (not planned).
