The Pond Boss Forum and the Pond Boss Magazine are the leading source for managing private ponds and lakes. Every 12 to 18 months Pond Boss holds a lake/pond educational summit. The 6th conference just ended and the attendees leave with cutting edge strategies to manage these bodies of waters. The brightest minds who manage private waters offer talks and share what's working and what needs tweaking from all over the country. Some of the the coolest and scientific studies about bass is happening right hear in Texas. We caught a glimpse of the project. I cannot wait to share this information as is is made available over the next few years. If you are interested in learning how to manage your lake you need to attend the next one!!!

Is this a conference open to the public? I am a biology major with a focus on fish biology and it may be cool to talk to a few of the guys who work in the field.

Yes it is. There were a few students in attendance. Good place for networking.
