Army navy stores have some good selections. I use ragg wool with the fingertips cut off. I have fished in 20 degree weather and been fine.

try a pair of simple latex gloves, seems weird. But it works for moderately cold conditions. when its really cold I wear a pair of windstopper "glomitt" basically they're gloves, with cut off fingers, with a flap that turns them into mittens.
I layer the latex gloves with the glomitts. works pretty good.
Latex gloves are cheap.

I cut off the thumbs and pointed fingers of a pair of neoprene gloves so I could feel the line and thumb the spool on casts. If it's really cold stick a hand warmer packet between the inside of the gloves and under your wrists to keep the blood flow to your fingers warm.
If I'm just running between areas I like the Under Armour liner gloves. Try some different ideas out and find what fits best for your style and comfort. Good luck!

Wool must work. Saw Bill on Honey Hole wearing a pair in the last two episodes. They looked like they went on and came off easily enough.. .just look for the last episode of Honey Hole and Town Lake in Austin. Man, good luck on finding an Army & Navy store anymore. I haven't seen one in years... God Bless

I like to keep a big pack of the cotton gloves you can get at tractor supply for really cheap. When a pair gets wet I just switch it out with a fresh pair and continue fishin

I carry several different pairs. I heavy glove for running to different areas to make sure that I start with warm hands. If needed for fishing, under armor, glacier gloves, wool and I have a couple of other pairs that I have no idea what brand. Just having something that is continually dry is the ticket for me.

Seirus All Weather gloves. Academy usually carries them. They're light enough to fish with, but still protect you from the cold.

Winter golf gloves. You can buy the double pack for 11 bucks at Academy. I can cast and tie knots with them on.
