They are on my transom and have two wires blue and green that's not connected to anything? And about six other wires I think are going to my console? I know it's not fishing but was thinking more would see on bass fishing.

Trim or hydraulic j-plate..
Most newer Mercury motors have them mounted on the side of the motor.
While most all j-plates have them mounted in the boat.
The two loose wires would most likely go the trim or j-plate hydraulic pump...Green is down blue is up...The other wires going toward console would be for the gauge and trim switches.

Guess they got to stay I hooked up my cranking cables to battery and had trim. But no power to my console. Was trying to eliminate a bunch of wires in my bilge. I have about 20ft of wire going to these relays urr. It had hydraulic jack plate before I got boat I assume as it has two blinkers on wheel. Can I remove the two wires or use them for power on something else?
