Watching the classic and seeing Ashley fishing it. I know it is more of clear water bait . Just wondering if any body use's it on Texas lakes.

Try one after the spawn when the fry are small. Use a smoke colored grub for the trailer

Had a great day on Athens this past summer with them and a cane thumper. Had 4 overs and a lot of big slot fish working the grasslines in 10-12' of water.

I have had some that has rode around in my hook box for several years. And have not really gave them much thought until seeing them used to win the classic. every 10 years it comes around...

Xcite just came out with one. I've been catching the fire out of fish in it this winter. Clear water is a must with it. The new Keitech 3.2" fat impact works well on it. The other thing I've found is it works best on 12lbs line or lighter.

www.propointfishinglures.com Pro Point Fishing Lures Check out this California made swim bait from Pro Point Fishing Lures. It has an amazing built in weight with hook and is available standard or with an under spin. I would have liked to have had my hands on these last year at the Tour event on Hartwell. Check out the video online and be ready to place an order. Has an amazing amount of action. I know it was hard for Casey to turn his back on that jig, cause he has so much confidence. Glad to see his dream of being a Classic Champion come true.
