GEEEEZ!!! Only 5 fish weighed in over 4.6 lbs out of 320+ fisherman!!!! WHAT HAPPENED to that grand ol fishery! I think Mexico has finally killed off the Queen!!! It's going to take years and a Hurricane to get her back! And the pollution stops! Top notch fisherman fishing every pattern and still only a 26 lb. stringer and that's with a 10 lb. kicker!! SAD SAD SAD!!!!!!

Whats sad about it? Still one of the best single day weights on any lake in the country. Best anglers in the world can't even come close to those weights in the Bassmasters Classic right now. Falcon is in the middle of the spawn and it is the worst lake to sight fish for spawning fish. Way too much cover! It's not the Falcon of years past, but its still a very good lake. I think Bass Champs in April will bring some big weights for those hungry post spawn fish.

There was Wind in a.m., nicer in the afternoon. We got zero bites. We did see the talapia tearing up the banks. Would have been nice to see some bait in the lake, but we didn't.

We had 18.80......weighed in 35 min late.
on the way to weigh in the boat died......now I can't get it on plane, and I am afraid there are power head issues
Would have gotten 6th
7.7 kicker

Tough day at the office

Bad luck,but a good sack.
Same thing happened to me last year at Texoma. Blown engine due to oil pump failure.

I had a 7.32# that they did not put in the Big Bass numbers.
Only had 2 fish for a 9.31 total but the 7.32 was a new personal best.
The wind was brutal, fishing was tough, but a big thanks to Bassin Billy Tompkins for the pre-fish program 2 weeks ago. He had us on fish, but they would just not hit our plastic and I don't flip. My 7 came on a white spinner bait and in 2ft of water.
Great fajita party at Billy's place Friday night and a special thanks to Igan McDonald and his dad for the accommodations.
Great weekend.
