I need a place out of the wind but with fish.

The options I see:

1. West of 377
2. Little Mineral Arm
3. Mill Creek

Let me know what you guys think is best.

Stay home and fish another day. The fish and lake will always be there but your life is more important unless you're bank fishing. Good luck

I would not be going would be it, we have a trip planned for Friday to Texoma and so far 2 of the 4 don't think they are going due to the weather, we fished 5 days last week out of 7 and enjoyed all of them if it had been this forecast I would have not gone, I don't think our trip Friday will be a go. Stay home warm and safe.

I know you changed your mind to go. Lakeside on the OK side is a good place to fish when the wind is up. Fish the creed not the main lake. If the ramp is open it is good and cove is out of the wind. You probably won't catch any 20# fish, but it used to hold 7 and 8's. I have not fished it in 3 years, but fished it a lot in the early 2000's. I was trolling in those days with Blue Glass Repalas and Shad Colored Repalas.

Fished earlier in the week. Only found fish off of TIpoint. Going to be dangerous there tomorrow.

Wish I'd gone to lakeside. Wind was out of the east straight down the lake where I launched by Russwood. I marked gobs of fish of the deep point by Mill Creek. Dead sticked, trolled, strolled...nada. Frozen and slightly wet I headed in and dumped my ice. At least I didn't have to clean fish today. Should have stayed home.

Springs only 28 days out. Things are going to get better.

I cannot get to TI Point. It's just too far for my small boat and I would have never tried it in cold water with that wind. I considered launching at Granpappy Point to get out of the wind in Little Mineral. Doubt there would be any fish there. The fish and bait I found were all in the deep channel at Mill creek.

Nice pic of the striper. Can't wait until spring when I get a chance to fish. Cold water bating just doesn't cut it.
