I recently moved up here to Virginia for work. I wondered why all the tournaments in the area dropped off the calendars in January and February....now I know why. This is a cove on Lake Gaston that I live on.

I would say that's the exception and not the rule. I'm from Richmond. It doesn't get cold enough to freeze like that normally. It gets cold, sure, but usually that bad.
