WOW .....don't know if they will work for a crappie but once again our good friends at CREME have a great buy  5 knock off rattle traps for 5 bux and these are the real small versions  not a fan personally of rattle traps but they for sure ketch fish SO 5 FOR 5 IN MY 5 GALLON BUCKET ..... and I am ready to toss a hard bait ... just in case ....  KABOOM

While bass fishing at Ray Roberts some time ago, I was using a tiny trap and stumbled upon a hungry school of big slabs. They worked that day for sure.

People think I'm crazy but I have great luck cranking rattle traps at our place for crappie. The mini traps are the best but I've caught em on bleeding shad 1/2 oz traps as well trying to catch bass.

I have seen the same Rex I find bait balls at the ponds and count down a 1/2 oz trap thru there and hammer them if you hit it right. Hey ketchn still no rain in mills co. As soon as my brush gets covered or they move shallow to the dock we will have to make a run to get all them Nasty crappie fish we can get out of my bass ponds lol.

KABOOM got them at Walmart on Jacksboro hwy by 28th street wonder if they priced them wrong ? might need to go get another pack before they figure it out ? Where did you find them for that price? It's $15 in their online store for this package.

I'm in the same boat, my spawning spots I found a few years back in Tawakoni are dry as a bone. The spots in my local creek are not completely dry but down enough that I will need to find a few new spots.
