If you worry about the snap on a chatterbait, a drop of solder will ensure that it won't open up on you.

good idea....for those, like me, who don't have the means to do that.....do as I do.....get a pair of needle nose pliers and bend the wire, where the snap opens, around.....I do, however, like your idea...never thought of that..... thumb

I use JB Weld! Just mix up a small amount and do 4 or 5 at a time.
